Who should buy Dreame V11

  • If you have tiled or hard floors, the Dreame V11 might be an excellent choice for you because it has a soft roller brush that protects your hard floors as it cleans and can easily pick up everything in its path.
  • If you are on a tight budget, the Dreame V11 might be suitable for you because it has a high-quality performance at a reasonable price.
  • If you live in a large house, you might be impressed with the Dreame V11 because it has a relatively large dust chamber that can store a lot of dirt. Another great feature is its sufficient battery life.
  • If you have pets in your home, the Dreame V11 might be a great helper because it has a strong suction power that can easily pick up fine dust, pet hairs, and other debris.
  • If you have allergies, the mite brush attachment of the Dreame V11 might be of great help because it can clean house dust mites that are mainly found in beds or sofas.
  • If you have low-lying furniture, you might be impressed with the maneuverability of the Dreame V11's nozzle which can work well on corners and hard-to-reach areas.

Who should NOT buy Dreame V11

  • If you have carpets in your house, the Dreame V11 might not be an ideal choice for you because its brush attachments don't work well on carpets. Instead, you might be more interested in the Tineco PURE ONE S12 that has a direct-drive power brush that cleans even deeply embedded dirt in your carpets.
  • If you are not satisfied with the brush attachments of the Dreame V11 and are looking for more cleaning attachments, you might want to check the Dyson V8 Absolute that provides six brush attachments or the Tineco PURE ONE S12 Pro Ex that has ten brush attachments.

This is our verdict of the Dreame V11 based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 10-08-2021

The Dreame V11 has a lot to offer for a reasonable price. It is a cheaper alternative compared to its other big brand competitors.

It has a strong suction power that even on its lowest suction setting, the eco-mode, the Dreame V11 can still manage to pick up fine dirt and debris efficiently. The Dreame V11 is also not heavy so you can use it with the slightest effort. It weighs 1.6 kg compared to the Dyson V11 Absolute that has a weight of 3.05 kg.

The LED display in the handle is really helpful because it shows you the suction modes, battery level, as well as the warning and error messages such as if the air duct is blocked, the battery is overheating, and the battery is failing. The Dreame V11 also has an on/off lock feature that allows you to choose whether you want to keep the power button pressed or if you want the Dreame V11 to vacuum continuously with just one click.

The Dreame V11's main brush, the soft roller brush, is great for hard floors since it doesn't scratch the floors but can still pick up the smallest bits of dust and direct them to the suction port. However, the downside of this soft roller brush is that it cannot thoroughly clean the deeply embedded dirt in your carpets. Although it can still pick up dirt from your carpet, it is mainly because of the strong suction power.

Another downside of the Dreame V11 is its non-replaceable battery. If you drain the battery and are not yet done cleaning, you cannot replace the empty battery with another full battery and immediately continue cleaning. So, if it happens with the Dreame V11, you have to wait for it to recharge for a few hours then you can continue with vacuuming.

Overall, the Dreame V11 works best if you have hard floors and smooth surfaces. It is worth its price because it has a lot of features to offer and doesn't weigh heavy which makes it easier to clean.

Dreame V11 vs. Dyson V11 Animal

Longer battery life (90 minutes vs. 60 minutes)
Has a lock button feature
Lighter weight (1,6 kg vs. 3,03 kg)

Cons

Smaller dustbin capacity (0,5 liters vs. 0,76 liters)

The Dreame V11 has four cleaning attachments (soft roller brush, horizontal crevice nozzle, vertical crevice nozzle, and mite brush). In comparison, the Dyson V11 Animal has five cleaning attachments (high torque cleaner head, stubborn dirt brush, mini motorized tool, combination tool, and crevice tool).

Description

When looking for a vacuum cleaner for their homes, people will always look for something that is powerful, practical, and will offer ease of use. The Dreame brand does that with the Dreame V11 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, one of their latest cordless vacuum cleaner models.

It’s sleek, easy to use, has a good suction power, and offers a myriad of features that will make cleaning your home easier. It is also compact and economical so you don’t need to worry about it taking too much space in your home.

Battery

The Dreame V11 has a maximum run time of 90 minutes in eco mode, 30 minutes in medium mode, and 10 minutes if run in turbo-mode. Its charge time is 4 hours and its battery type is Li-ion with a battery voltage of 25.2. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh. You can check the status of the battery on the side of the vacuum unit which will show you how much batter life is left in three levels. The vacuum can be charged when you place it in its wall-mount dock and storage.

Cleaning

This vacuum cleaner comes with a dustbin capacity of 0.5 litres. It has 3 suction powers, with the maximum being at 22 kPa. First is the “eco” mode, which is the lowest setting and will allow the vacuum to run for 60-90 minutes. This mode lets you do light cleaning in your rooms.

Second is the “medium” mode which runs for 30 minutes and has more suction power than the eco mode. It is good enough to clean dust, crumbs, and other debris.

The third mode is the “turbo” mode which is the maximum power and can run for 10 minutes. It’s great to use when you have to clean hard-to-reach places.

Functionality

The filtration system of the Dreame V11 comes with 12 cone cylinders, allowing for a more precise and finer filtration. It traps the fine dirt in the dust bin and filter out particles as small as 0.3 microns. The high amount of cones reduces the workload of the filter and extends its lifespan as well.

The filter can easily be removed and easily cleaned, as it is reusable, making this vacuum last for a long time.

Attachments and nozzles

The Dreame V11 comes with a soft roller brush that is flexible and can be used when cleaning floors. It can handle debris like cookie crumbs and peanuts.

It also comes with an electric mite motorised head which is good for cleaning sofa, bed sheets, or any fabrics. If you are a fur lover, this is particularly useful for getting pet hair out of seats in your home or in your car, as well as picking up little crumbs on a couch.

There is also a 2-in-1 flat brush that works on furniture, blinds, lampshades, and even the dashboard of your car. It is versatile and works on various surfaces.

With its flexible hose attachment, the Dreame V11 lets you access the more hard-to-reach areas, especially the more narrow spaces around your home and in your car.

The extension rod lets you reach places high up in your home, such as a ceiling fan or an air vent, and the wall-mount dock for charging and storage is both practical and stylish. You can store it easily without it taking too much space.

Design

The Dreame V11 has an optimised air flow system where air vents are put in place so the vacuum cleaner can perform at its highest quality without overhearing. Thus, it can perform longer and at a better standard.

The OLED display screen shows its battery life, suction strength setting and even a hands-free “lock” mode if you want to keep cleaning continuously so you don’t have to keep pressing the on button over and over again. This allows the vacuum cleaner to keep running while you clean and manoeuvre it around. The display will also let you know when you need to replace once of the filters.

Other

The Dreame V11 is made of plastic and its noise level is at 72 decibels.

Dimension and weight

The maximum height of the Dreame V11 is 122 centimetres and it weighs 1.6 kilogrammes. The width measures 28 centimetres and the depth is 16.6 centimetres.
