Who should buy Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute

  • If you have different floor types in your house, such as hard floors and carpets, you might be satisfied with the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute. It has a variety of cleaning attachments to choose from such as the torque drive cleaner head which is suitable for carpets and the soft roller cleaner head which is perfect for hard floors.
  • If you have a lot of furniture or obstacles in your home, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute might be for you because it has easy maneuverability and its cleaning nozzle is flexible so it can fit in tight spaces.
  • If you have pets in your home, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute might be a great help because it has an outstanding suction power that can easily pick up tiny bits of dirt, such as pet hairs. It also has a relatively large dustbin so you won't have to frequently empty the bin even if you have a pet that sheds a lot.

Who should NOT buy Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute

  • If you are on a tight budget, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute might not be practical to buy because of its high price. Instead, you might want to try other cheaper cordless vacuums, such as the Samsung VS60K6050KW or the AEG CX7-2-45AN.
  • If you don't like pressing the trigger button the entire time you are cleaning, you might want to look for other cordless vacuums with an on/off switch or lock button feature, such as the Dreame V11 because you can turn the vacuum on or off with just one touch.
  • If you live in a large house and you prefer to clean the entire house in just one cleaning cycle, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute might not be for you because it has a short battery life, especially when using its boost cleaning mode. Instead, you might want to clean one room at a time and charge in between or check the Shark IZ251EU that has 80 minutes running time and a replaceable battery.

This is our verdict of the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 10-08-2021

The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute is a great cordless vacuum but comes at an expensive price. Therefore, it is suitable for those who don't mind spending a lot of money on a cordless vacuum.

It has a lot of cleaning attachments to choose from, so you can use the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute on any type of floor and you can also use it on many other surfaces too. Unlike the other V10 models, such as the Cyclone V10 Motorhead and the Cyclone V10 Animal, the Cyclone V10 Absolute is a deluxe model with more cleaning attachments compared to the two. It has six cleaning attachments: a torque drive cleaner head, soft roller cleaner head, mini motorized tool, mini soft dusting brush, combination tool, and crevice tool.

It is also lightweight so you won't feel like you are cleaning since it weighs about 2.88 kg only. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute also has a large dust bin for about 0.76 l so you won't have to empty the dust bin frequently. However, the battery life might be a problem if you live in a large house. It has a limited battery life wherein it can run for about 52 minutes on the lowest suction mode and for only about 6 minutes on the highest suction mode. Unlike the Shark IZ251EU that has a longer battery life and provides two batteries so you can replace the drained battery with a fully charged one while cleaning, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute only has one battery and is not replaceable.

The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute cannot stand on its own but it has a wall-mounted bracket so you can store it there. If you are in the middle of cleaning and you just want to temporarily leave it there, you cannot make it stand on its own but you can lean it on a wall and it won't slip since it has a rubber pad on the bottom.

To start the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute, you must press the trigger button and you must continuously press it the entire time you are cleaning. Therefore, it might be inconvenient for you to press the trigger the whole time and you might accidentally let go. The trigger is also a bit sensitive, so you might also accidentally press it. This trigger button aims to save battery life since it is already limited. But if you prefer cordless vacuums with a lock feature where you can start and stop the vacuum with just one touch, you might be interested in the Dreame V11.

Overall, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute is a great cordless vacuum and is worth the price. It comes with a lot of cleaning attachments and it also has different suction levels, hence, it gives you a lot of options to change the vacuum according to your liking and what you are cleaning. However, the biggest downside of this is its high price so if money is not a problem for you, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute might be worth the try.
