This is our verdict of the Kyvol Cybovac E20 based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 25-03-2021

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 supports impressive features and outstanding cleaning performance for its low price.

The Cybovac E20 is manipulated via the remote control, app, or voice control. The remote control basically provides all the features already, so unless you want to see the cleaning history, then you can download the app. The remote control and app allow you to control the cleaning path of the Cybovac E20 manually. You can instruct it to go forward, backward, to the left, and right, but some users had a hard time manipulating the robot vacuum controls.

It has an above-average suction power than its other competitors of up to 2000Pa, which can easily take in dirt from any types of floor, from bare floors to medium pile carpets. The Cybovac E20 also supports Boost Intellect Technology that can come in handy for those who have carpets because it automatically increases its suction power when detecting carpets to provide a more thorough cleaning.

The Cybovac E20 has a low profile of 7.23cm that can easily traverse under low-lying furniture such as under the bed, sofa, or areas that are hard to reach. It allows the Cybovac E20 to clean a broader coverage and clean areas that are frequently not given attention but have a lot of dirt.

With a 55db noise level, which is lower than its other competitors, the Cybovac E20 can clean its utmost best while not disturbing those in the same room.

However, the Cybovac E20 navigates the floor randomly. By randomly, it means it bounces from furniture to furniture, hoping to cover the whole area. So, it has a lesser efficiency in cleaning than robot vacuums that utilize a smart navigation system. It may clean a specific area twice, but it can also leave an area uncleaned. Additionally, it can have a hard time finding its charging dock when you press the ‘home’ button in the remote control or app. Nevertheless, it can still manage to cover the whole area, especially if you put it in a small room and can find its docking station after a few minutes.

Another downside of not having a smart navigation system is that it can’t support virtual boundaries. However, the Cybovac E20 can still set barriers for areas that you don’t want the robot vacuum to go because it comes with a magnetic boundary strip.

Overall, despite the low price, the Cybovac E20 still managed to support innovative features that help the robot vacuum provide a great vacuuming experience to its users.

First look at Kyvol Cybovac E20

Demonstration of how Kyvol Cybovac E20 works

Description

Kyvol Cybovac E20If you’re looking for a robot that will clean thoroughly, the Kyvol Cybovac E20 might be just the one you need, as it doesn’t just do one pass of the room before heading back to its charging base. Rather, the robot will keep on cleaning until the battery needs charging and go over areas multiple times to ensure that your home remains spotless and clean. With its streamlined air duct and mighty suction power, the Kyvol Cybovac E20 will make sure that it is able to remove the dirt from your carpets and floors—even the ones that are stuck—in order to give you a highly efficient cleaning experience.

Battery

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 has a maximum runtime of 150 minutes if the robot is set to low suction power. Its battery type is Li-ion and it has a battery capacity of 3200 mAh. When its battery is low or it is done with its cleaning, it will return to its charging base automatically. Recharging time takes approximately 6 hours.

Cleaning

With a suction power of 2000 Pa and a dustbin capacity of 600 liters, this robot is equipped with a powerful suction that allows it to clean your space, from hard floors to medium pile carpets. It quickly and effortlessly lifts up hair, dust, and even pet litter.

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 comes with three cleaning modes: automatic, spot, and edge, and has a cleaning area of 200 square meters. It has a maximum climbing height of 1.5 centimetres, allowing it to go from floor to carpet and back again with ease. It can even climb over door thresholds within its cross height. Once it detects carpets, the robot will also automatically increase suction power.

At around 7.2 centimetres high, the robot can easily fit in nook and crannies that are otherwise difficult to reach. It can reach corners and narrow spaces and even run under low-lying furniture, such as couches and beds, to clean up areas that are often overlooked or forgotten. With its side brushes, it can sweep and clean corners and edges that most regular vacuums are unable to reach and clean.

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 is equipped with a highly efficient filter system—a dual-layer filter and an additional HEPA filter—so that it can reduce the number of particles and allergens in the air so it can help to avoid secondary air pollution in your home. The V-shaped design of the brushes allows it to have continuous contact with the floor. As a result, your surfaces are cleaned intently and consistently.

Functionality

When the Kyvol Cybovac E20’s battery is low, automatically returns to its dock to recharge and ready itself for the next cleaning schedule, which you can set via the remote control or app. The robot can also be connected to Google Home and Amazon Alexa so it can be fully integrated into your smart home.

App

With the app, you can easily control the robot to start and stop anytime, as well as set cleaning schedules. You can also operate the robot with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, which will allow you to control the robot through voice commands.

The app also allows you to check the status of the robot and see where it is at the moment as well as direct it to return to its charging base and recharge.

Navigation

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 is equipped with high-precision sensors that allow it to detect potential obstacles in its cleaning path. The robot will then automatically avoid them or go around them if it is incapable of going over them.

The same high-precision sensors also allow your robot to detect ledges, which will keep it from falling off stairs and higher areas.

If you want to keep your robot out of a room, you can set up no-go areas with magnetic stripes. The sensors will detect these borders and clean the areas that you only need it to clean.

Attachment

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 comes with a remote control that you can use for setting cleaning schedules and for manually controlling the robot.

Design

The robot is round and comes with two side brushes.

Other

The robot has a sound level of 60 dB.

Dimension and weight

The Kyvol Cybovac E20 comes with a height of 7.2 centimetres and a weight of 2.69 kilogrammes.
