Who should buy Severin RB 7025

  • If you are on a tight budget and are looking for a cheap robot vacuum that can clean well, the Severin RB 7025 might interest you because it is a great help and comes at an affordable price.
  • If you live in a small house or apartment, the Severin RB 7025 might suit you well because it can constantly clean for 90 minutes which might be enough to clean your entire home.
  • If you have low-lying furniture, the Severin RB 7025 might impress you because it can efficiently pick up hidden dirt under furniture, such as the sofa, bed, or other hard-to-reach areas and corners. As a result, it can clean larger areas, especially places where most dirt resides.
  • If you are new to robot vacuums, the Severin RB 7025 might be an excellent choice because it is very easy to use. It also doesn’t have complicated control options so those who don’t have experience with robot vacuums. can use it more easily.

Who should NOT buy Severin RB 7025

  • If you live in a house with more than one floor, the Severin RB 7025 might not suit you well because its stair sensors sometimes do not work properly, so the Severin RB 7025 might fall down the stairs.
  • If you live in a large home with many furniture or obstacles, the Severin RB 7025 might not efficiently clean your entire home because it doesn’t have a smart navigation system that can efficiently maneuver around obstacles. Instead, it might be better to spend a little more on other expensive robot vacuums with a smart navigation system, such as the Roborock S6 and the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 920.

This is our verdict of the Severin RB 7025 based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 11-08-2021

The Severin RB 7025 is in the lower price range of robot vacuums. So, it is less smart and lacks some features and options that can only be seen in other more expensive robot vacuums.

The Severin RB 7025 doesn’t have a charging station so it cannot automatically recharge if it drains its battery. It beeps a signal tone when it exhausts its battery so you can identify where it stopped and pick it up. Fortunately, it is one of the lightest robot vacuums with a weight of 1.5 kg, so it is not a problem picking it up from the floor.

Since it is a budget robot vacuum, it doesn’t have a smart navigation system. The Severin RB 7025 cleans in a random pattern, follows a straight line, and changes direction when bumping into an obstacle. It has 90 minutes of operating time, which is common in robot vacuums in the lower price range. It is sufficient if you live in a small house but it might not be enough if you live in a large house with a lot of rooms.

The Severin RB 7025 also doesn’t have a remote control or a designated app, making it cheaper and easier to use. However, it limits your options in controlling the Severin RB 7025 and lacks other features, such as the cleaning schedule feature. If you prefer robot vacuums with remote control, the Eufy RoboVac 11S MAX might be an excellent choice. If you want a robot vacuum that you can control in your phone, you might want to check the Ecovacs Deebot OZMO U2.

Overall, with a reasonable amount of money, you can get a little helper that can pick up tiny pieces of dirt and keep your home clean. It might not be the smartest robot vacuum but it comes at an affordable price and can still get the job done.
